This session consists of 3 parts. In Part I, Dr. Louie will present a project at Boze Elementary that supports the administrator, teachers, EL families and EL learners. In Part II, participants will learn about some easy, engaging, and fun online strategies to be used in the blended environment. Part III focuses on differentiated instruction for ELLs at different language proficiency levels.

Dr. Louie is the Director of Project TELL-PD that sponsors this Summer Institute. She is founding faculty of UWT School of Education. Her scholarly interests are children’s and young adult literature and support for EL families and learners.
